Coopersville Farm Museum and Event Center's Acoustic Jam Nights are held the first and third Tuesday of every month, year round, from 6pm - 9pm. It is a unique 'jam' and open mic night. People come from all over the state to experience the down home, warm welcome at Jam Nights. Members bring refreshments and there is always a punch bowl and coffee provided by the museum. Dozens of people gather by the refreshments just to visit while on the other side of the barn wall musicians are sharing their passion for folk music, bluegrass, country, and even a little pop!
Jam Nights average about 25 musicians, so in 3 hours you're lucky to play more than one feature song. Unless of course you develop relationships with other musicians who invite you to play with them. Bands, groups, and even marriages have been founded at the Coopersville Farm Museum and Event Center. It's really more about the people than the music, but wow!, some of the music you get to hear is fantastic!
Doors open at 5pm for musicians to sign in and guests to 'save a seat' - admission is $4 (to help keep the lights on at the museum) and museum members and kids 12 & under are free. Donations are gladly accepted as the Coopersville Farm Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that would not survive without the support of people like you!
