Informal Old Time Music Jam, named for founders Dave and Diane Poe. Players welcome. Meets last Sunday of each month, except for the last Sundays of July and August (due to conflict w/music festivals).
We generally sit in a circle and take turns calling tunes to play. Everyone is welcome.
Jam is at the Washington, VA Fire Hall, which is owned by Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue, a volunteer organization. We typically have 8 - 12 players showing up to play claw hammer banjo, fiddle, guitar, upright bass, mandolin and hammered dulcimer
